Food and Product Innovation Network
Hawaiʻi’s Food and Product Innovation Network (FPIN) is a statewide initiative led by Senator Donovan Dela Cruz to strengthen food security, support local agriculture, and build a new generation of entrepreneurs across the islands. Through a network of shared, open-access facilities, FPIN gives local producers access to the tools, training, and support they need to create value-added products, grow their businesses, and bring them to market without the high upfront costs.
Career Foundations serves as the K–12 curriculum that supports this vision. Developed in Hawaiʻi, it helps students build real-world skills in mindset, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, agriculture, and career readiness. Students are not just learning concepts, they are applying them in meaningful ways. By the time they graduate, they are prepared to step into FPIN pathways as producers, innovators, and future leaders in their communities.
